Hello, yellow

Nada como el amarillo para dar un poco de alegría a los días más grises del invierno. Si además lo combinamos con azul Klein resulta una mezcla muy vibrante y chic. Además era la excusa perfecta para estrenar mis nuevos tacones (como si yo necesitara alguna excusa, jeje). Muchas gracias por todos vuestros comentarios!

There´s nothing like yellow to give a little joy to gray days of winter. In addition, if we combine it with blue Klein it results a very vibrant and chic mix. It was also the perfect excuse to brand my new heels for the first time (as if I needed any excuse, hehe). Thank you so much for all your comments!

Winter pastels

Los colores pastel son perfectos para la primavera, eso lo sabemos todos pero, ¿y para el invierno? A mí la verdad es que me encantan, dan muchísima dulzura a cualquier look y combinarlos es super fácil cuando juegas con distintos colores de la paleta pastel en un mismo outfit.

We all know pastel colours are perfect for spring, but what about winter? The truth is I love them, I think they give a super feminine touch to any outfit and it´s super easy to combine them playing with different colours of the pastel palette. 

Pink walls, pink coat

Ya están aquí los días más fríos del invierno. Nada mejor para combatir los 10º C que un jersey gordito de lana y cuello vuelto y un buen abrigo. Un look muy sencillo que podéis llevar a diario. Espero que os guste.

Coldest winter days are just here. 10 degree weather called for a wool turtleneck and a warm coat. A simple look that you can wear everyday. Hope you like it.

Winter accessories

Hola a todos, ¿cómo estáis? Hoy os traigo un ejemplo clásico de cómo los accesorios pueden cambiar totalmente un look. Prendas tan básicas y esenciales como unos jeans y un jersey liso de lana, donde la diferencia la marcan los complementos. He optado por combinar prendas en la misma gama de color, el azul Klein, y diferentes estampados. Los cuadros para el fular y el zigzag en los tacones que ya visteis la semana pasada por el blog. Por cierto que ambos accesorios los adquirí en rebajas, por si os gustan, aprovechad ahora!

Hi everyone! How are you? Today´s outfit is the perfect example of how accessories can completely change the result. I chose basic and essential items, as a pair of jeans and a solid colour wool sweater and the accessories make the difference. I wanted to combine clothes in the same range of colour, blue Klein, and different prints. Plaid scarf and zigzag heels that you´ve already seen on the blog last week. By the way, I purchased both accessories on sales!

Blue zig zag

Los que me seguís desde hace tiempo sabéis que me encanta combinar diferentes estampados. Una tendencia que da mucho miedo al principio pero a la que con la práctica te vuelves adicta. Si sois principiantes en esta tendencia os recomiendo empezar combinando prendas poco atrevidas, como hago yo en este outfit que os enseño hoy. Como el pantalón ya tiene un estampado bastante llamativo, he optado por un jersey básico y como colofón le he colocado estos tacones con estampado en zigzag en los mismos tonos del outfit. De todas formas, si lo que os gusta es arriesgar un poco más con el mix print os dejo un par de posts relacionados (here and here). Gracias por vuestros comentarios!

Those who have been following me a long time know that I love to combine different patterns. This trend is very scary at first but you'll become addicted with practice. If you are a beginner I recommend to start combining some clothes not too bold, as I do in this outfit that I show today. This pants has a flashy print, so I decided to wear a basic sweater and these heels with zigzag pattern in the same tones of the outfit. Military green & light pink

Dos colores que a priori no combinan, pero a mí me sorprende el resultado. Solemos usar el verde militar combinado con prendas básicas, en tonos neutros, pero a mí me parece que darle un toque diferente con un rosa pastel es la salida perfecta para evitar aburrirnos del clásico combo. Añadiendo unos tacones en animal print conseguiremos un outfit mucho más personal. Espero que os guste.

We usually think that some colours, as for example military green and light pink, don’t combine at all. But he result may surprise you. We often wear military green combined with basics in neutral colours, but pastel pink gives a different touch to the classic combo and it´s a perfect option in order to avoid getting bored of it. If we also add animal printed heels we´ll get a more personal outfit. I hope you like it.

Best of 2015

Algunos de mis momentos favoritos de este año. Tras la vuelta de Chile, el 2015 ha supuesto para mí un año de cambios, de sentarme a pensar qué quiero hacer con mi vida y de ponerme a ello para conseguir mis metas algún día. Como todo el mundo, he tenido mis momentos mejores y peores, mis crisis existenciales, y no he viajado tanto como me gustaría; pero el año termina para mí con la gran satisfacción de que ahora me conozco mucho mejor a mí misma que hace un año, tengo muy claro lo que quiero de la vida y voy a luchar para conseguirlo. Y espero que vosotros hagáis lo mismo, que persigáis vuestros sueños aunque ahora os parezca que no van a cumplirse nunca, porque merecerá la pena.

Some of my favourite moments of the year. After I came back from Chile, 2015 has meant for me a year of changes, thinking about what I want to do with my life and starting to work in order to achieve my goals one day. Like everyone else, I had good and bad moments, some existential crisis, and didn´t get to travel as much as I´d have liked to; but the year ends for me with the great satisfaction that I now know myself much better than a year ago, I know very clearly what I want in life and I´ll fight to get it. And I hope you do the same; you must chase your dreams, even if it seems that they will never happen, because it´ll be well worth it.
