Orange you obsessed?

Aprovechando que han subido las temperaturas y no sabemos cuánto tiempo durará el buen tiempo, no quería dejar pasar la oportunidad de volver a lucir mi mono. Cuando lo compré tuve una extraña sensación de amor-odio con él. Por una parte, el largo culotte me decía que no iba a usarlo, que era demasiado raro para mí. Por otro lado, sabía que me encantaba y que tenía que llevármelo o me arrepentiría, pues es la clase de prenda original e imposible de encontrar cuando la estás buscando. Después de varios paseos por el centro comercial, donde lo compré - lo devolví - y lo volví a comprar (todo el mismo día) decidí llevármelo conmigo a casa. Y sí, así de loca estoy, jeje, pero ahora puedo deciros que no me arrepiento para nada. Me gusta especialmente para algún evento especial, porque nunca pasa desapercibido. Y vosotros ¿qué pensáis?

Temperatures have risen, we don´t know how long the good weather will last, so I wanted to take advantage of this situation and didn´t miss the chance to wear my jumpsuit. When I bought it I had a strange love-hate relationship with it. On the one hand, the culotte pants told me I wouldn´t wear them enough, that it was too weird for me. On the other hand, I knew that I loved it and I had to take it or I would regret, because it´s the kind of garment that is original and impossible to find when you're looking for it. After several trips to the mall, where I bought it – return it - and went back to buy it one more time (all this happened on the same day) I finally decided to purchase it. And yes, I'm so crazy, lol, but now I can say to you that I don´t regret at all. I like it especially for a special event, because it never goes unnoticed. What do you think?

Surfing days

Hola a todos, ¿qué tal? Hoy quería dejar un poco apartada la sección de outfits para hablaros de otra de mis aficiones favoritas: el deporte. Me encanta el deporte, sobre todo si es al aire libre (en cambio los gimnasios no los soporto). Entre mis deportes favoritos se encuentran el surf, el snowboard y antes jugaba mucho al tenis, aunque últimamente lo tengo abandonado porque estoy liada con otro proyecto que me roba mucho tiempo. Pero en cuanto vuelva a tener tiempo quiero volver a las pistas. Sin embargo el surf lo sigo practicando, de vez en cuando me escapo a la playa y dedico unas horas sólo a las olas. Es un deporte que exige muchísimo, pero merece la pena.

Por cierto, recientemente he descubierto una tienda que me ha gustado mucho y os quería hablar de ella por si no la conocíais. Se llama Sportzone y tienen una gran variedad de productos relacionados con el deporte. Tiene tiendas en los principales centros comerciales, así que es muy fácil poder encontrar una cerca de casa. Yo ya estoy revisando su web en busca de una nueva cazadora de nieve; estoy deseando ya que llegue la temporada de snowboard!

Hi everyone, how are you? Today I wanted to set aside the outfits section in order to speak about another of my favorite hobbies: sports. I love sports, especially if outdoors (I cannot stand gyms!). Among my favorites sports are surfing, snowboarding and I used to play a lot of tennis, but I don´t play much lately because I'm busy with another project that keeps me really busy. But when I have the chance I try to go to play tennis. However I keep surfing; I occasionally escape to the beach and spend a few hours just surfing. It´s a sport that demands a lot, but it´s worth it.

By the way, I recently discovered a shop that I love. It's called Sportzone and have a variety of sports-related products. It has stores in major shopping malls, so it's very easy to find one close to your home. I'm reviewing its web looking for a new snow jacket; I'm looking forward to the snowboard season!

Canotier

Llevaba mucho tiempo buscando un sombrero de este tipo. Los sombreros canotier están muy de moda últimamente, sobre todo para eventos como bodas, bautizos, etc. Yo buscaba uno sencillo, con cinta negra y de color claro, para poder customizarlo a mi gusto en futuros outfits (ya estoy pensando en decorarlo con cintas y flores). Por cierto que el conjunto que traigo hoy es de mi madre, de hace como 15 años. Me parece chulísimo porque, aunque no se aprecia en las fotos, tiene un verde tornasolado muy bonito. Además tiene un aire vintage con el talle a la cintura y el cuello enorme de la blusa. Pensé que iría genial para estrenar mi canotier. ¿Qué os parece?

It took me a long time to find a hat like this. Canotiers are trendy hats, especially for events such as weddings, baptisms, etc. I wanted one that was single, with black ribbon and light color, to customize it to my taste in future outfits (I'm already thinking about decorating it with colorful ribbons and flowers). By the way, the co-ord I show you today was my mother´s, it´s around 15 years old. I find it very cool because, although you cannot appreciate it in the pictures, it´s a beautiful iridescent green. It also has a vintage touch with the high waist and the huge collar of the blouse. I thought it would be great with my canotier. What do you think?

Hola a todos! Aprovechando que empieza el otoño estos días quería mostraros mis outfits favoritos de la temporada pasada. Espero que os sirvan de inspiración para empezar esta nueva temporada con energía.

Floral pants

El estampado de flores me parece perfecto para el otoño, y más aún cuando es en colores sobrios como el que os traigo en el look de hoy. Ya sabéis que me encanta la combinación de rojo con azul, me parece que lo combines como lo combines siempre aciertas. Por eso, para darle un toque aún más contrastado, elegí mi bolso de flecos en azul Klein. Espero que os guste.

I find floral pattern is perfect for Fall; even more when it´s in plain colours like the one that I show you in today´s outfit. You know that I love the combination of red and blue, I think it doesn´t matter the way you combine them because you´ll always get it right. Therefore, for a more contrasted touch, I chose my fringed blue bag. Hope you like it.

Autumn is coming

Outfit del día: muy sencillo; con camisa y tacones en negro y unos jeans en un color que nunca pasa de moda para el otoño, el verde militar.

Outfit of the day: Very simple; black shirt and heels and a pair of jeans in a color that never goes out of fashion for fall; military green.

Black and white stripes

Hola a todos! Hoy quería enseñaros un look sencillo en blanco y negro donde la prenda estrella es la camisa de rayas. Me la enviaron desde Rosegal, junto con un sombrero canotier que os enseñaré también por el blog en futuros posts, porque me tiene enamorada. Centrándonos un poco en el outfit de hoy, cuando se trata de combinar prendas de rayas, lo más sencillo es combinar con prendas sencillas y de un color que coordine con las rayas. Hi folks! Today I want to show you a simple look in black and white where the main garment is the striped shirt. This one is from Rosegal, they were kind enough to send it together with a  canotier hat that I´ll show you in future posts, because I love it. Focusing on today´s outfit, when it comes to combining striped garments, the simplest way to do it is to wear it with solid colours that match with the stripes.
