Hola chicas, ¿cómo estáis? Hoy os quería enseñar mi lista de favoritos para esta navidad. Me he centrado en la web de Shein, ya que su colección de fiesta me ha parecido genial y además a precios súper económicos. Entre mis favoritos ( y aprovechando que son tendencia) están los vestidos cortos de terciopelo, que tan bien quedan con cazadora de cuero. Además, con lo que me gusta a mí una lentejuela no he podido resistirme y me he decantado por un mini vestido en verde esmeralda que me parece espectacular (además con manga larga, un plus de cara a las bajas temperaturas). Y no podía faltar entre mis elegidos el abrigo de pelito, perfecto para acompañar un outfit de fiesta. Y vosotras, ¿cuales son vuestras prendas preferidas para estas fiestas?

Hi girls, how are you? Today I wanted to show you my Christmas wishlist. I've focused on the website of Shein, because they have a great (and super-low prices) party collection. Among my favorites (and taking advantage of that they ´re trend) are some velvet dresses that match perfectly with leather jackets. You know I also love sequins, so I can´t resist choosing this mini dress in emerald green which I think is simply spectacular (also with long sleeves, a bonus with low temperatures). And I couldn´t miss the fur coat, perfect to accessorized any party outfit. And you, what are your favorites for these holidays?

Cuando los chicos de Shein me ofrecieron colaborar eligiendo una prenda de su web lo tuve claro: quería una falda plisada en algún tono metalizado. Concretamente, esta falda. Son tendencia este otoño invierno y espero que sigan siéndolo en primavera porque a mí me encantan. Esta en concreto es en un tono blush precioso. Además es perfecta para cualquier evento navideño, ya que le dan un toque diferente y actual a cualquier look de fiesta. Os enseñaré por el blog futuros outfits con esta falda en versión fiesta, pero de momento quedaos con la idea de que son igualmente chulas para un look de diario, combinadas con prendas básicas. Espero que os guste.

When the guys of Shein offered me to collaborate choosing a garment of their web I was clear to me: I wanted a pleated skirt in some metallized tone. Specifically, this skirt. They are trend this fall-winter season and I hope they keep trending in spring because I love them. This particular skirt is in a beautiful blush tone. It´s also perfect for any Christmas event, as they give a different and current touch to any party look. I will show you this skirt in a party outfit in future posts. Burgundy

La verdad es que en mi armario puedes encontrar casi cualquier color. Sin embargo el burdeos es un color que, aunque me llama mucho la atención (sobre todo para la temporada de otoño-invierno) aun no formaba parte de él. Hasta ahora. En el outfit de hoy apuesto por todo un look en burdeos. Es uno de esos colores que se presta muy bien a total looks. A mí al menos me encanta el resultado. El jersey es de Romwe, y me encanta porque al ser oversize es super cómodo, y además es muy calentito; perfecto para combinar con jeans ajustados. Y el bolso se ha convertido en mi nuevo amor, con estampado floral, muy original, y que me lo vais a ver en más de un outfit este invierno. Como siempre, espero que os guste el look y que me dejéis vuestros comentarios.

Truth is you can find almost any color in my closet. However, although burgundy is a color that attracts my attention, especially for the autumn-winter season, it wasn´t part of my wardrobe. Until now. In today´s outfit I bet on a total look. It´s one of those colors that goes perfectly with this trend. At least, I love the result. The sweater is from Romwe, and I love it because it's oversize, super cozy and very warm; perfect to combine with tight jeans. And I'm in love with the bag and its very original floral print; you´re going to see it in more than one outfit this winter. As always, I hope you like the outfit and leave me your comments.

Black & White lace

Los que me seguís desde hace tiempo sabéis que adoro las prendas de encaje. Fundamentalmente faldas, aunque últimamente estoy apostando también por otro tipo de prendas, como los vestidos. Este que os enseño hoy forma parte de un pedido que hice a Zaful y que me encanta (os enseñaré el resto de cositas que adquirí en futuros posts). Al ser en blanco y negro he decidido combinarlo con bolso y salones en color mostaza, porque ya sabéis que sin color no sería yo, jeje. Those of you that have been following me for some time know that I love lace garments. Specially skirts, but lately I'm also trying it on other clothes, like dresses. This one is part of a purchase at Zaful and I love it (I'll show you the other things I acquired in future posts). Being a dress in black and white I decided to combine it with a mustard bag and a pair of heels, because you know otherwise it wouldn´t be me, hehe. Hola a todos. Ya estoy por aquí para enseñaros un año más mis favoritos para este otoño. Cuando llega esta época me gusta sentarme en frente del ordenador y cotillear sobre las tendencias que se llevarán esta nueva temporada y empezar a fichar prendas indispensables. Como sabéis, siempre antes de empezar hago una lista mental de lo que quiero añadir a mi armario para no terminar comprando en exceso. Este año me apetece hacerme con un jersey de punto gordo de estilo Lopapeysa que me encantan para el frío. Además aprovecharé que es tendencia el mostaza (color que me encanta para el otoño) para adquirir alguna prenda en este tono. Buscando por tiendas online he encontrado cositas interesantes en la web de Esprit. Y como siempre, he caído con un par de cosillas con las que no contaba al inicio de la lista. Como estas bailarinas de purpurina (ya sabéis que se lleva mucho el glitter este invierno). Sabéis que yo no soy mucho de zapato plano, pero son tan monas que, ¿quién puede resistirse? Hi everyone! I'm back to share with you guys my favourite trends for this fall. When I feel that a new season has finally arrived, I like browsing the internet to snoop about the new trends that will be in vogue the next months so I can select my next essential purchases. As you may know, I always make a mental list of all the items I want, so I don't buy in excess. This year for example I feel like getting a Lopapeysa sweater for the cold days. Also, because mustard is a color trend this season (color that I love for the fall) I want to get my hands on some garment in that color. Browsing the internet I've found interesting items on the Esprit web, and as always, I've ended up getting a couple of things that were not on my initial list. An example, this glittering flats ( you may notice glitter is a trend this winter) . And although I prefer high heels over flat ones, they were so cute I couldn't resist. Por fin puedo enseñaros las fotos de mis vacaciones, este año tocaba el norte de Marruecos. Alquilamos un coche y recorrimos las ciudades de Tánger, Fez y Meknes, además de un precioso pueblo azul llamado Chaouen que llevaba años queriendo visitar. Para mí, el encanto de Marruecos reside en sus rincones llenos de azulejos, sus numerosas tiendas de alfombras (dentro de estas tiendas te sientes embrujada, para mí uno de los lugares más especiales del viaje) y la aridez de sus paisajes. Por supuesto, aún nos queda mucho por recorrer de Marruecos en próximos viajes. Es la primera vez que piso África y ya estoy deseando volver. I can finally share some pictures of my holidays. This year´s destination was northern Morocco. we drove through northern Morocco. We rented a car and drove around the cities of Tangier, Fez and Meknes, plus a lovely blue town called Chaouen which I´ve wanted to visit for years. To me, the charm of Morocco lies in its corners full of tiles, the variety of carpet shops (within these shops you feel haunted, and it was one of the most special places in the trip to me) and the aridity of its landscape. Of course, we still have much to visit of Morocco on future trips. This was my first time in Africa and I´m already looking forward to coming back. Un truco para conseguir un look con color block es optar por prendas básicas en tonos lisos y optar por colores neutros para los complementos. De esta forma no recargaremos el look y podremos mezclar casi cualquier color. La idea es sentirnos cómodas con lo que llevemos pues es una tendencia que llama mucho la atención y atraeremos más de una mirada.

A trick to get it right with a color block outfit is choosing basic garments in solid colors and accessories in a neutral tone. This way you won´t overdo the outfit and so, you can mix almost any color. The idea is to feel comfortable with what we wear; this is a striking trend that will attract attention wherever we go.

Total blue

Soy una mujer de contrastes. Como arquitecta, las actuaciones que más me gustan son las intervenciones en edificios históricos con claves de arquitectura moderna. Lo mismo escucho música clásica que algo bailable. Me gustan los contrastes de sabores, como el queso curado con mermelada de frutas. Con la moda me pasa exactamente lo mismo. Las combinaciones que más me divierten y con las que más creativa me siento son aquellas que mezclan distintos estampados. Es algo poco aceptado (muchos pensarán que me he vuelto loca o que escogí las prendas al azar en el armario). Pero a mí me encanta. Y si me hace feliz, ¿por qué no?

I love contrasts. As an architect, the proyects I like more are interventions in historic buildings mixed with modern architecture. I do the same when it comes to listening music; I love classical music but I also love to dance with the latest summer hits. I like the contrasts of flavors, like aged cheese with fruit jam. With fashion, it´s exactly the same. The combinations I enjoy the most and with which I feel more creative are those that mix different patterns. It´s a risky trend (many will think I've gone crazy or randomly chose the clothes in the closet). But I love it. And if it makes me happy, why not?

Red, blue, black

Un total look en rojo puede ser muy potente (tenéis un ejemplo aquí). Pero esta vez quería restarle un poco de fuerza al rojo, y por eso opté por seguir los tonos de este pañuelo, que ha resultado un inseparable durante todo el invierno (qué buena compra!). El rojo valentino, el azul Klein y el negro son colores que combinan a la perfección. Como siempre, espero vuestros comentarios.

A total look in red can be very powerful (you have an example here). But this time I wanted to play down red, so I chose to follow the hues of this scarf, which has been an inseparable accessory throughout the winter (what a good purchase!). Valentino red, Klein blue and black are colors that mix perfectly. As always, I wait for your comments.

Mules

A veces me preguntáis si es que voy siempre con stilettos. La respuesta es no. Obviamente también me canso de andar siempre en tacones; en verano la mayor parte del tiempo voy en chanclas (ya que mi principal actividad se basa en ir a la playa y/o chiringuitos) y en invierno no me separo de mis Uggs tan cómodas para el día a día. Pero estos looks no los enseño por el blog normalmente, ya que son extremadamente básicos. Siempre que hago algo mínimamente especial (que no sea ir a trabajar, a la playa, o de compras, que ahí sí que tiro de zapato plano) prefiero añadirle algún tacón. Ya os dejé un post hablando sobre tips que podéis usar para aprender a andar con tacones y no morir en el intento. Ahí os hablaba de empezar por tacones más bajitos e ir subiendo en altura, o también probar con tacones anchos. Las mules son un tipo de tacón perfecto para empezar. Vale, igual la altura de estos es excesiva para principiantes, pero ¿qué queréis que os diga?, yo ya estoy acostumbrada y lo que no encontraréis en mi armario son tacones medianos. Soy chica de extremos, y o zapato plano, o taconazo.

Sometimes I get asked if I always wear stilettos. The answer is no. Obviously I also get tired of always walking in high heels; in summer I usually wear flip flops (because I spend most of time at the beach and/or beach bars) and in winter I don´t separate from my Uggs, so comfy for daily use. But I don´t usually show you these outfits on the blog because they´re extremely basic. Whenever I do something minimally special (which is not going to work, to the beach, or shopping, where I say yes to flat shoes) I prefer to add some heels. I did a post with some tips about How to walk in heels and not die trying. It´s important to start with some low or mid heels and go up in height, or you can also try wide heels. Mules are a type of heel perfect to start with. Okay, the height of these is probably too high for beginners, but what can I tell you?, I'm used to it and I love them. You won´t find medium heels in my closet. I´m like this; it´s either flat shoes or high heels, with nothing in-between.

Color explosion

Aunque parece que se nos ha truncado un poco la llegada de la primavera, a mí me da lo mismo. Ni las lluvias ni el viento van a arruinarme el espíritu colorista estos días. No os vale que os diga que esta explosión de color que os enseño en el outfit de hoy es producto de la primavera, jeje. Los que me seguís desde hace tiempo sabéis que si algo me gusta en esta vida son los colores. Y la verdad es que no necesito excusas para plantarme algo tan llamativo como esto y salir a la calle en un día amenazante de lluvias.

It seem the bad weather has come to try to ruin the arrival of spring, but I personally don´t care. Neither rain nor wind will ruin my colorful spirit these days. I want to think that this explosion of color in today´s outfit is the product of spring, but surely I won´t convince anyone about it, hehe. Those who have been following me a long time know that there´s nothing I love more than colors. And the truth is I don´t need any excuse to wear something as striking as this outfit and go out on a rainy day.

HOW TO WEAR: Floral print

Esta temporada las nuevas colecciones nos están bombardeando con estampados florales. Se van a llevar muchísimo, tanto para esta primavera como para el verano. Por eso os quería traer algunas ideas para combinar este tipo de estampados de distintas formas, con prendas muy diferentes donde el estampado floral es el protagonista. Las más atrevidas quizás elijáis algún motivo en tonos intensos en un total look, como el tercer ejemplo que os traigo hoy. Las más discretas os decantaréis por un look en tonos más sutiles, como el que os propongo con pantalón en tono pastel. One of the greatest trends of this new season is floral print. Floral prints in spring, floral prints in summer. Therefore I wanted to show you some ideas to combine this type of prints in different ways, with very different garments where floral print is the protagonist. Perhaps the boldest of you will choose some garment in vibrant tones in a total look, as the third example. Artistic moods

Una buena idea para darle un toque actual a prendas que tenemos de otras temporadas es combinarlas con alguna prenda de tendencia. El arty print fue tendencia hace un par de temporadas, pero ya se ve cada vez menos en la calle, y nada en las tiendas. Sin embargo, estos pantalones son de mis favoritos por su originalidad. En este outfit lo combiné con complementos en un color muy de tendencia, el mostaza.

A good idea to give an actual touch to old-fashioned garments is combining them with some new trend. Arty print was a trend a few seasons ago but we see it less and less at the street, and nothing at the shops. However, these pants are one of my favourites for its originality. In this outfit I combined it with accessories in a trendy color, mustard.

Sailor stripes

La gran ventaja de las rayas marineras es que combinan con infinidad de prendas, desde lo más básico combinados con tonos nude o camel, hasta lo más arriesgado, como por ejemplo mezclarlo con otros estampados como topitos o flores. A mí me gusta especialmente combinarlo con fuchsia porque resulta un outfit muy alegre y al mismo tiempo llevadero. Que tengáis una semana estupenda.

The great advantage of sailor stripes is they combine with a lot of garments, from basic combination with nude tones or camel, to the most risky, such as mixing prints, maybe like polka dots or flowers. I like it especially combined with hot pink because it´s is a very cheerful outfit and wearable at the same time. Have a great week.

Baroque

El estilo barroco aporta elegancia y solemnidad a nuestros outfits. Tener un pantalón con este tipo de estampados puede sernos muy útil para alguna cena especial, reuniones de trabajo o incluso la cena de navidad. Por eso no lo dudé cuando vi este hermoso pantalón en Chicfy; ya andaba buscando algún pantalón de este tipo y con su precio de segunda mano me terminó de conquistar. La verdad es que me estoy aficionando (por no decir que me estoy volviendo adicta) a las compras por internet, y más aún cuando encuentras gangas como te puede pasar navegando por chicfy.

Baroque style adds elegance and solemnity to our outfits. To have a pair of pants with this type of prints can be very useful for a special dinner, working meetings or even Christmas dinner. So I didn´t hesitate when I saw this beautiful trousers on Chicfy; I had been looking for baroque pants for long time and when I saw these ones and its second hand price I finally decides for them. The truth is that I am becoming fond (not to say I'm getting addicted) of online shopping, and even more when you find bargains as you can get on some webs like chicfy.

A magic trick

El otro día, mientras paseaba, descubrí que la primavera finalmente había llegado a mi ciudad. Los parques y las plazas son algo extraño para mí. En invierno me resultan muy tristes, pues hace frío y los árboles están apagados. Sin embargo, en primavera y otoño todo cambia, y se convierten en algo mágico. Por eso supe que tenía que tomar las fotos en este lugar, para que podáis disfrutarlo conmigo. Y nada mejor para pasear por la ciudad en esta época del año que unos pantalones de piel. El truco de magia está en el sombrero azul Klein; un simple gesto que convierte el atuendo en algo mucho más sofisticado. Espero que os gusten las fotos.

The other day, while out for a stroll, I noticed Spring had finally come to my city. Parks and squares are peculiar places for me. They´re sad and cold in winter, but in spring and autumn everything changes, and they become something magical. So I knew I had to take some pictures of it, so you can enjoy it with me. And nothing better to walk around the city at this time of year than leather pants. The magic trick is the klein hat; a simple gesture that changes the outfit into something much more sophisticated. South of Spain Photo Diary (part II)

La llegada de la primavera trae la alegría al sur, donde no estamos acostumbrados al frío, sino más bien al calor sofocante, a charlar dando voces, reírnos a carcajadas y cenar a las 11 de la noche. Por supuesto, cada lugar tiene sus particularidades, y no hay lugares mejores que otros, sino que depende de nuestra percepción. Sin embargo, en esta época del año me encanta vivir aquí, una pequeña ciudad costera donde puedes ir a la playa cada día y la gente camina a ritmo pausado. Aprovecho para enseñaros algunas fotos y el look de hoy, donde se mezclan los tonos pastel para decir adiós definitivamente al invierno.

Spring is coming and it brings happiness with it to the south of Spain. Here, we aren´t used to cold, but rather to stifling heat, chatting shouting, speaking and laughing loudly and having dinner at 11 pm. Of course, every place has its peculiarities, and there are no better places than others, it depends on our own perception. However, at this time of the year I love living here, a small coastal town where you can go to the beach every day and people walk unhurriedly. I want to take this opportunity to show you some photos and the outfit of today, where pastel colors are mixed to definitely say goodbye to winter.

Basic combo

Muchas veces me escribís para preguntarme cómo combinar algún color o simplemente para decir que os encantan los looks coloristas pero que os sentís incapaces de llevar algo así a la calle. Para aquellas a las que os guste combinar colores como a mí, pero que quizás os sentís un poco más tímidas, yo os recomendaría un look como el de hoy. Combinando azul y rojo acertáis seguro y os aseguro que la mezcla no va a decepcionaros. Es simple, es colorista y cualquiera puede atreverse con estos dos colores, ¿no creeis?

Often you comment on the blog to ask me how to combine some color or just to say that you love colorful outfits but you feel unable to wear something like this. For those of you who like combining colors but maybe you feel a little shyer, I will recommend an outfit like today´s. Mixing blue and red you´ll get it right and it won´t disappoint you. It´s simple, it´s colorful and anyone can dare with these two colors, don´t you think?

Color block for Winter

Este fin de semana la pequeña subida de temperaturas que hemos tenido me ha permitido llevar falda sin medias (no soporto las medias, me resultan muy incómodas). Ya que no han subido tanto como para deshacerme del abrigo, pensé en darle un toque colorista al look eligiendo un color opuesto al verde. El resultado es llamativo y nada discreto, pero si os sentís cómodas con los colores vibrantes, como me pasa a mí, podréis sobrevivir al invierno con algo más en el armario que negros y grises. The small rise in temperatures we've had this weekend, has allowed me to wear a skirt without tights (I can´t stand tights because they make me feel very uncomfortable). However, temperatures haven´t risen as much as I´d like and I couldn´t get rid of the coat, I thought I'd give a colorful touch to the look by choosing an opposite to green. The result is striking and nothing discreet, but if you feel comfy with vibrant colors, as I do, you´ll be able to overwinter with more in the closet that black and gray. Hope you like it. Mecca orange

Ya sabéis que  me encantan los sombreros. Especialmente en invierno, donde los looks que llevamos suelen reducirse a un sweater y un abrigo, el sombrero se convierte en la pieza clave para darle un toque mucho más pulido y personal al estilismo. Por eso, y a pesar de mis intentos por no seguir ampliando mi armario, cuando vi este en la tienda rápidamente sucumbí. Creo que el color naranja me conquistó. No tengo demasiadas prendas naranjas ya que es un color que creo que no me favorece demasiado; sin embargo este tono Mecca, un poco más apagado que el naranja, me pareció perfecto para mí. Como siempre espero que os guste el look y que me dejéis vuestros comentarios. Besotes!

You know how much I love hats. Especially in winter, where our outfits are often reduced to a sweater and a coat, hat becomes the key for a more polished and personal styling. Therefore, and despite my efforts to not continue expanding my wardrobe, when I saw this one in the store I succumbed to it quickly. I think its orange color conquered me. I don´t have too many garments in this color because I think orange doesn´t look good on me; however this Mecca tone, a little duller than the orange, seemed perfect for me. Hola chicas, ¿cómo estáis? Hoy os enseño una de las que considero mis mejores prendas de la temporada. Llevaba tiempo buscando un abrigo en color fuchsia, y como os comentaba en el post anterior, este año me he dedicado principalmente a ampliar mi fondo de armario en cuanto a abrigos se refiere. Me ha sido imposible encontrar un abrigo así tanto en tiendas como en webs (y he mirado muchísimas), y una tarde, aburrida en casa, decidí buscarla en Chicfy. Ya os he hablado alguna vez de esta página, y la mayoría de chicas ya la conocéis, pero para las que no; se trata de una web para comprar y vender ropa y accesorios de chica. Yo tengo un perfil amplísimo de ropa a la venta (os dejo el link aquí por si queréis echarle un vistazo), y de vez en cuando también pico y compro algo de otra vendedora. Esta es la historia de este abrigo, y la verdad es que estoy contentísima con él, porque además del color super vibrante, es  muy calentito, y al ser oversize, comodísimo para llevar con los jerseys gordos del invierno. Hi everyone! What´s up? Today I wanted to show you one of my best purchases of the season. I had been looking for a hot pink coat for long time, and as I said in the previous post, this year I´m mainly expanding my wardrobe  with respect to coats. I wasn´t able to find this kind of coat in stores or websites (and I've spent a lot of time in this task). But one evening, bored at home, I decided to search on Chicfy. I´ve already talked to you about this website, and most girls already know about it, but for those of you who don´t know it, Chicfy is a website to buy and sell clothing and accessories for girls. I have got an account with a lot of clothes for sale (I leave the link here in case you want to take a look, but I think it´s only for Spanish, sorry), and I occasionally also buy something from another seller. This is the story of this coat, and the truth is I'm very happy with it, because besides super vibrant colour, it´s very warm, and oversize, what makes it extremely comfy with thick sweaters.
