Colombia Photo Diary (part II)

Hola chic@s! Hoy os traigo la segunda parte de mi viaje a Colombia. Han sido tres semanas en las que he disfrutado muchísimo. Hemos hecho trekking por la selva viendo animales exóticos y coloridos, nos hemos bañado en el Caribe y bebido zumos de frutas tropicales hasta hartarnos. Hi folks! Today I bring you the second part of my trip to Colombia. It´s been three weeks that I have really enjoyed. We went trekking in the jungle among colourful and exotic animals, swam in the Caribbean Sea and drunk tropical fruit juices until we got full. Qué os puedo decir que no hayáis imaginado ya de Colombia: playas de arenas blancas y aguas cristalinas, maravillosa arquitectura colonial, gente acogedora... Sí, el paraíso existe, y una parte de él está en Colombia :)

Hi everyone! I´m excited to share with you my last trip: Colombia.

What can I say you haven´t imagined yet about Colombia: white sand and cristal water beaches, wonderful colonial architecture, friendly people... Yes, Paradise does exist, and a part of it is in Colombia :)

Color block (Vol II)

Aunque soy consciente de que la primavera y el verano son la época del año más apropiada para esta tendencia, a mí me gusta tanto que la utilizo durante todo el año. Existen varias formas de combinar los colores según la rueda de colores para conseguir el efecto deseado usando color block: combinando colores complementarios (colores opuestos en la rueda de colores), combinando colores equivalentes (colores que pertenecen a la misma familia, como en este caso el lila y el fucsia) y combinando colores triádicos (para mí la forma más arriesgada de combinar color block; se trata de mezclar colores que formen un triángulo en la rueda de color). Although I´m aware that Spring and Summer are the most appropriate time of the year for this trend, I like it so much that I use it throughout the year. There´re several ways to combine colours according to the colour wheel to achieve the desired effect using color block: combining complementary colours (colours opposite on the colour wheel), combining analogous colours (colours that belong to the same family, as in this case purple and fuchsia) and triadic colour combination (for me, the most risky way to combine color block: it's about mixing colours that shape a triangle on the colour wheel). As bright as the sun

Que me gustan las lentejuelas es algo evidente. Las uso en multitud de outfits, tanto para la noche como para el día. Me parece que le dan un toque especial a cualquier outfit por sencillo que sea. Sin embargo, esta vez quería darle una vuelta más y combinarlo con alguna prenda en la que jamás hubiera pensado. En este caso, la falda de encaje en tono pastel me parece que le da un aire muy dulce al outfit y le añade feminidad. ¿qué pensáis?

The fact that I love sequins should be obvious by now. I wear them for a multitude of occasions both during the day and at night. I think they give a special touch to any outfit (even the most basic ones). However, this time I wanted to combine it with a garment that would give the outfit a different touch. I´m talking about the lace pastel skirt, which I think gives a very sweet touch and adds femininity. What do you think?

The vintage touch

Hacía tiempo que tenía el capricho de tener una falda de este tipo, con ese aire tan Vintage. Como siempre la encontré el día menos pensado, en Topshop. Su color blanco me parece perfecto, pues tiene mil posibilidades. Para este look elegí optar por un total look en blanco con complementos en tonos vivos para dar contraste. Espero que os guste y que paséis una semana genial :)

For some time now I've got a craving for this type of skirt, with a Vintage touch. As always, I found mine the least expected day in Topshop. I think its white colour is perfect because it has a thousand possibilities. For this outfit I chose a total look in white with colourful accessories to highlight the composition.
